SEASON 2010/11
We had a total of forty-one teams ranging from under 13's through to under 16's registered for season 2011/12.
CHAIRPERSONS AWARD:
The recipient of this seasons Chairpersons award is Ian Wheeler, the manager of FC Halsall.
Along with the hard task of managing two teams during the past four seasons, Ian has been the driving force behind his players, who have maintained the very highest standards of discipline and sportsmanship. This has been recognised by both league officials and his fellow team manager’s, who have nominated him for sporting recognition on seven separate occasions. In fact, both FC Halsall teams have received the Sporting Team/Fair Play award for every season that they have been in the Springfield League.
There are numerous ways to measure success and none more so than what Ian has achieved over the years.
It has been a pleasure to have Ian, Jenny, Les and the boys in our league. Everyone at FC Halsall should be extremely proud of this well deserved accolade.
